My family, all five of us, took a 6 week trip to Alaska using the Alcan Highway. Dad took lots of pictures and I wound up with them. Dad put short labels on the developed slides and I have transcribed some of these. Dad's selection of things to photograph was not too discriminating so there may be more pictures here than necessary. On our way back to the lower 48 we met a couple ladies travelling in a VW camper and interacted with them a fair amount since the choices of where to stop for the night were limited.   >>

Sandy and Roger were very active in travelling during 1965 and went to Canyonlands/Arches/Escalante. In our early camping we met with Dean Ewing who had a 4wd pickup with a camper enclosure. He was very familiar with the things to see and took us around to a number of sights: Petrographs, ruins and arches.   >>
