Utah-1965

Sandy and Roger were very active in travelling during 1965 and went to Canyonlands/Arches/Escalante. In our early camping we met with Dean Ewing who had a 4wd pickup with a camper enclosure. He was very familiar with the things to see and took us around to a number of sights: Petrographs, ruins and arches.

This is the San Juan river.

The pattern of the San Juan River and the sandstone structures can get very complicated.

The local tribe cultivates the canyons and maintains a variety of living spaces.
