Skiing Dodge Ridge, Heavenly and Kirkwood

Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort. Despite being a Saturday, we never had to wait more than a couple minutes for lifts.
I drove the day before all the way from Henderson, NV to some BLM land called the Red Hills Recreational Management Area. This was the frosty dawn the next morning.
There was still some powder to be found.
We stayed at Zephyr Cover RV Park. The highway to South Lake Tahoe was mostly clear of snow and ice, but surprisingly icy once we got into town. After coming to a sliding stop at an intersection, I drove the last 5 miles at about 15 mph.
Heavenly Mountain Resort. After a long night driving from Dodge Ridge, we took our time and got started at about 1 pm.
The conditions weren't quite as good at Heavenly, but there was a lot more terrain to explore.

Not too crowded for a Sunday.
There goes the sun
Kirkwood on Monday. A little grayer and a little colder.
... and our legs were quite a bit sorer.
